A Curiosity Based Approach
While there’s certainly no shortage of techniques and different approaches for teaching, and developing the innate musical talents children possess, the key principle, as obvious as it may sound is often missing. Curiosity! Children by nature are curious, and it is unfortunate that so many of us lose that sense of curiosity and hunger for knowledge as we mature. My goal, before anything else, is to make children curious about the fascinating world of music, just as I have experienced it in my childhood. There’s a significant difference in the amount of patience a child has, especially in today’s low attention span mobile world between a child that is passionate about what they’re doing, and one that simply views it as a daunting task.
Music and Beyond
The joy and fulfillment music, and learning to play it is more than enough of a reason to start, there are a lot of often-overlooked benefits. Playing the classical guitar has many developmental benefits that researchers have thoroughly studied and proven. Some of them include improving one’s coordination, analytical and spatial thinking, sensitivity, confidence and social interaction, among countless others.
While learning these values is highly important, being too strict can often have the opposite effect, which is why I build my lessons in a way that is refreshing and fun, without any judgement, building confidence for the continuous growth of a future musician.

Guitar for Kids
The “Guitar for Kids” book series was constructed and designed with the musical development of small children in mind on their road to excelling. The music terminology and instructions are spread out in easy to follow, short sessions with a large emphasis on soothing illustrations.
Inside you will find anything from the basics, such as how to read musical notes, or how to play melodies and chords, gradually. All the lessons are taught using Israeli children’s songs as well as international songs in the first book of the series, as well as duets, and guitar repertoire in the second book.
Students will acquire a solid technique that will act as cornerstones and will help them in the following years. Teenagers as well as adults can also partake and enjoy the “Guitar for Kids” series.
